Policies & Guidelines

LAKESIDE CABINS & RV PARK

Reservations & Minimum Stays

  • Small cabins: 2-night minimum stay.
  • Roy Cabin: 3-night minimum stay.
  • The number and names of all overnight guests must be provided before arrival. Online reservations are often entered for only two guests; guests are responsible for making sure the reservation reflects the actual number of people staying.
  • Occupancy may not exceed the stated cabin limit. Undisclosed or additional guests may result in additional charges and, when occupancy limits are exceeded, may result in termination of the stay.

Reservation Deposit & Cancellation

Because we are a small property, a reservation removes those dates from availability for other guests. Our cancellation policy is intended to be fair to our guests while recognizing that short-notice vacancies can be difficult to refill.
  • A 50% reservation deposit is required to secure a standard reservation.
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival: the reservation deposit will be refunded less a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival: the reservation deposit is forfeited.
  • Major holiday reservations, including Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day periods, must be paid in full. Holiday payments are non-refundable unless Lakeside, at its discretion, is able to re-rent the reservation.
  • No refunds are provided for early departure, weather, travel delays, road conditions, or removal for violation of campground policies.
  • In the event of a death in the immediate family, Lakeside may consider an exception or credit on a case-by-case basis. Reasonable documentation may be requested.

Security Deposit

A $200.00 security deposit will be held on the card associated with the reservation. After departure, housekeeping will assess the cabin. If there is no damage, missing property, excessive cleaning or other chargeable condition, release/refund of the security deposit will be processed. Depending on the card issuer or financial institution, it may take approximately 5-7 business days for the funds to appear as available. The security deposit may be applied to damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, unauthorized pets, smoke or marijuana odor remediation, pet damage, or linens, towels, blankets, bedding or other property that is stained, damaged or soiled beyond normal cleaning.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: 3:00 PM.
  • Check-out: 10:00 AM.
  • Late check-outs must be approved by Lee or Kim in advance due to the housekeeping schedule.
  • An unapproved late check-out may result in an additional fee.

Vehicles, Parking & Recreation Vehicles

  • Speed limit: 7.5 MPH for all vehicles throughout the campground.
  • Parking: Maximum of two vehicles per cabin unless arrangements have been made in advance. ATV and snowmobile guests must advise Lakeside in advance how many vehicles and trailers they will have so designated parking can be arranged.
  • Electric vehicles: Lakeside does not provide an EV charging station. Guests may not use cabin or campground electrical outlets to charge an EV without express owner approval.
  • Golf carts / ATVs / dirt bikes: Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult while operating or riding as required by applicable law and Lakeside rules. Operation must be safe, slow and respectful of pedestrians and other guests.
  • Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted anywhere on campground property.

Visitors & Guest Responsibility

  • Guests are responsible for the conduct of everyone in their party and for their visitors while on Lakeside property.
  • Visitors must follow all campground policies, including pet, vehicle, smoking/drug, campfire, waterfront and quiet-hour rules.
  • The registered renter is responsible for damage, pet incidents, disturbances or other policy violations caused by a visitor.
  • Visitors may not create occupancy above the cabin's permitted overnight limit.

Smoke-Free & Drug-Free Property

  • Pets must be leashed at all times when outside anywhere on the campground.
  • If a pet is left alone in a cabin, it must be safely secured in a crate/kennel and may not be left loose.
  • Two pet-waste stations are provided. Guests must clean up after their pets.
  • RV guests with pets must follow the same campground pet rules, including leash and clean-up requirements.
  • Visitor pets must remain leashed. The registered renter is responsible for visitor pets and any damage or incident involving them.

  • Keep the lakefront clean and remove personal belongings and trash when leaving the area.
  • Children must be appropriately supervised around the water, docks and shoreline.

  • Music and gatherings must remain at a respectful volume.
  • Glass containers should not be used in waterfront recreation areas.

Security Cameras

Security cameras are in use in selected common and exterior areas for property protection and guest safety. Cameras are not placed inside private guest accommodations.

Policy Violations / Removal

Lakeside Cabins & RV Park reserves the right to require a guest or visitor to leave when conduct threatens safety, damages property, substantially disturbs others, exceeds occupancy, or violates these policies. Guests removed for policy violations will not receive a refund. The registered guest remains responsible for applicable damage, cleaning or other charges.

Policy Agreement & Key Code

All guests responsible for a reservation must review and sign/acknowledge Lakeside Cabins & RV Park's policies before arrival.
